Library systems upgraded

Mosman Library and Shorelink have upgraded their electronic library systems to provide a more streamlined service for customers.

First customer on the upgraded system, Thursday 21 June.

The new Java based Unicorn Management System will not look any different on the screen at home but behind the scenes big changes are underway at the Library.

As with any new computer system, we are encountering a few teething problems, but overall the new interface will further enable us to help you find the information that you want.

By the way, if you’re interested in some of the thinking behind Library systems, take a look at Stephen’s Lighthouse, a blog by Stephen Abram, Vice President of Innovation at SirsiDynix.
