State Library updates
The State Library of New South Wales has a ‘new look’ website at www.sl.nsw.gov.au.
On the front page is a quick search option including a manuscript and picture search through PICMAN. While the images mostly concern New South Wales, there are strong 19th century holdings of other Australian states as well as the Pacific region.
There is also a new advanced search facility that enables more precise search and retrieval.
If you find items in the catalogue that interest you, most of the collection can be obtained for you via Inter-Library Loan for a cost of $3.30.
