Poetry Resources
Recently there have been several High School students visiting the Library to find poetry about ‘courage in the face of adversity’.
The Literature Resource Center available through NSWnet.net is a fantastic resource for narrowing down the search for poetry by a specific theme.
By searching through "Author By Type" you can select various criteria that will lead you to a list of authors that have produced work by that theme.
For example, to find a list of authors that have published poems that are about courage you would select ‘poetry’ under Genre and ‘courage’ under Theme. This will then provide you with a list of 24 authors with links to their bibliographies, criticisms and biographies.
