Slam the Boards!
Four of our librarians took part in Slam the Boards! on Tuesday.
Once a month librarians provide answers on popular answer board sites like Yahoo! Answers and make it clear that the questions have been answered by librarians. It’s an informal, international action to promote library services.
One librarian identified only as “Libraryland Lady” was awarded ‘best answer’ for recommending a trip to the local library by a student who asked for information on Australia’s involvement in the Middle East in WW1.
