Smart card coming soon

Mosman Library is introducing an automated PC booking, printing and photocopying system. These applications will be managed through your Mosman Library Card.

You will need to update your current membership card to our new smart cards to use this system.

Housed in the Reference & Information Technology Centre, this new system will replace the current PC reservation system and you will no longer need to book at the Information Desk. Bookings can be done:

  • Directly on a PC if one is available
  • At the central booking station
  • Over the telephone

If you need to book an email or word processing PC, the booking fee will be deducted from your Mosman Library Card. Funds can be added to your card at the pay station.

Should you wish to photocopy, your Mosman Library Card will also be used.

As you approach the end of your allotted time, the PC will alert you, giving ample opportunity to save your work and /or book for another session.

If you are not a member of Mosman Library and wish to reserve a PC, print or photocopy, a casual card can be purchased.

We are confident that this new system, coupled with the upgrading of our internet bandwidth, will make your computing, printing and photocopying experience at Mosman Library more efficient, enjoyable and productive.

Please note that all credit on existing print cards will expire at 30 June 2009.
