Watchmen

Alan Moore’s iconic graphic novel from the 80’s is being made into the film they said would never happen. ‘Watchmen’, the story of an alternative 1985, where the world is literally ticking closer to nuclear war with the Russians. There is a ban on superheros so when one is murdered they are thust into the spotlight.
The question is raised, who is watching the watchmen?

If you are a fan of ‘Heroes’ or ‘Hancock’ don’t miss this one.

Mosman Library has this acclaimed comic on the shelf in the young adult collection. Why not give it a read before the film hits our shores in March 09.
