To Be or Not To Be

The summer is winding to a close (that went way too quickly) and you might be thinking about things you’ll be required to read in the new school year. If Shakespeare is on the table Mosman Library has a series that will take some of the pain out of it for you.
The ‘No Fear Shakespear’ series tells the Bard’s tales but the old English is translated into modern language making it SO much easier to understand. (but not dumbed down) Here’s a taste of Hamlet.
We currently hold King Lear, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet and The Merchant of Venice at the Library. Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet are both in a graphic novel format.

Who knows, you might even find reading Shakespeare fun
….gasp….
