The 08/09 Cybils Winners have been announced.
In their own words the Cybils are ‘ are a series of book awards given by children’s and young adult book bloggers. The Cybils have only
two criteria: literary merit and kid appeal. We don’t think those two values have to collide.’
This is the third year of the Cybils and over 90 bloggers got involved with the nominations and selections.
The big winners in the Young Adult categories were The Hunger Games
by Suzanne Collins and The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E Lockhart (of course we have them both at Mosman Library)
