The Alchemyst by Michael Scott is set to be made into a film. This is pretty exciting news, and it comes just in time for those of us feeling the effects of knowing there will never be another Harry Potter film to hold out for. Casting has not been announced yet, but who would you put in the lead roles?
Who do you think would best play Sophie and Josh Newman? Who would you cast as Nicholas? Perenelle? What about the nefarious Dr. John Dee?
With so many awesome books being turned into movies (Like The Hunger Games, I Am Number 4, Twilight, The Hobbit, Beastly and I even hear on the grapevine that Stephanie Meyer’s The Host is being turned into a film), what book would you like to see turned into a movie next? Personally, I think The White Cat by Holly Black would be amazing as a film.
