The Anti-Discrimination Board of NSW is holding a poster competition for primary and secondary school aged young people with the theme of “JUST BE FAIR – celebrate diversity in your community” to celebrate Law Week 2011.
We are asking young people to design a poster about diversity in their community. There are book voucher prizes for the winners and for their library, and the winning posters will also be published by the Board and distributed throughout NSW to display in all libraries.

The Beat the Blues concert on 21 March was an astounding success, and we have the videos to prove it! The storm outside couldn’t match the energy in the Astra Theatre, with big and bold performances by Justice Crew, Replicators, Schools Out, Step Ahead, Queenwood Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Special Olympic Performance Group.
I don’t know about you, but I plan to spend my Easter break reading lots of good books, so I’m stocking up today for the long weekend! Don’t worry though, we’re open on Saturday so you can grab a mid-break book.
